The Commission has received the following application:
1. ST. CATHARINES, Ontario
Application (921932000) by REDMOND BROADCASTING INC. to amend the promise of performance for CHRE-FM St. Catharines, by increasing the maximum use of hits on a weekly basis from 50% to 85%.
This proposal constitutes an exemption to the Commission's policy requiring FM stations to maintain the weekly level of hits below 50%.
The applicant is applying for flexibility in this matter as per the guidelines for flexibility for border market stations contained in Public Notice 1992-3, which states that the Commission may be prepared to grant relief from certain programming requirements.
