a) to renew the broadcasting licence to carry on the type B (community radio) programming undertaking for CKWR-FM Waterloo expiring 31 August 1993; and
b) to amend the broadcasting licence:
- by changing the present condition of licence relating to advertising and replacing it by the following:
 "It is a condition of licence that the applicant broadcast no more than 6 minutes of advertising in every hour of broadcast, and that it broadcast no more than an average of 4 minutes of advertising per hour of broadcast up to a total of 504 minutes of advertising per week".
The applicant also wants to broadcast up to a maximum of 8 minutes of advertising during its ethnic programming.
The proposed amendments are in accordance with the Community Radio Policy concerning type B stations, as indicated in Public Notice CRTC 1992-38 dated 29 May 1992.
The Commission notes the licensee's apparent non-compliance with subsection 8(6) of the Radio Regulations, 1986 concerning its inability to provide logger tapes.
