Transfer of control of CFNB
Pursuant to the procedures outlined in Public Notice CRTC 1992-72 dated 2 November 1992 entitled "A Review of the CRTC's Regulations and Policies for Radio", the Commission announces that it has approved by Letter of Authority A93-0021 dated 25 March 1993, the transfer of control of Radio Atlantic (CFNB) Ltd., licensee of radio programming undertaking CFNB Fredericton, through the transfer of 100% of the voting shares from Radio Atlantic Holdings Ltd. to John F. Eddy.
The Commission notes that the applicant was unable to make a commitment in direct expenditures to Canadian talent development. However, the Commission expects the applicant to make direct cost contributions in this regard once the station achieves a positive operating income.
