A STUDY ON CANADIAN TALENT DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES AND EXTENSION OF DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS
In July of 1992, the Commission contracted an independent consultant to do a descriptive study of Canadian Talent Development (CTD) initiatives over the period 1985-1992. In a separate contract, the consultant was asked to evaluate the effectiveness of the CTD initiatives and to propose recommendations for change.
The Commission expects to make these documents available by 2 April 1993.
The Commission wishes parties interested in submitting comments in the context of the 90-Day Review of Radio (Public Notices CRTC 1992-72 and 1993-2) to have the benefit of these reports' findings and conclusions. It is therefore extending the deadline for comments to 14 May 1993.
