The Commission has received the following applications:

1. DESCHAMBAULT, POINT-DU-JOUR, SAINT-ADELPHE, SAINT-ANDRÉ-EST, SAINT-CASIMIR, SAINT-ÉDOUARD-DE-MASKINONGÉ, SAINT-JUSTIN AND SAINT-UBALDE, Quebec
Applications (931764500, 931771000, 931767800, 931773600, 931766000, 931769400, 931772800, 931765200) by CÂBLE TÉLÉ PLUS QUÉBEC 1 INC., 1730 Marie-Victorin Boulevard, Suite 201, Longueuil, Quebec, J4G 1A5, to amend the broadcasting licences of the (cable) distribution undertakings serving the above-mentioned localities, by adding a condition of licence relieving the licensee from the requirement that it distribute the programming of The Sports Network (TSN) pursuant to the rules governing the distribution of a programming service, as set out in Public Notice CRTC 1987-261 entitled "Distribution and Linkage Requirements", in compliance with subsection 10(2) of the Cable Television Regulations, 1986. Application (931821300) by LE RÉSEAU DES SPORTS (RDS) to amend the condition of licence requiring the licensee to charge the following wholesale rate per subscriber per month to each cable operator wishing to provide Le Réseau des Sports (RDS) on the basic service:
$1.21 from 01/01/93 to 31/08/94
Further to agreements between the applicant Le Réseau des Sports (RDS), The Sports Network (TSN) and Câble Télé Plus Québec 1 Inc., it is proposed to eliminate the wholesale rate normally charged to Câble Télé Plus Québec 1 Inc. serving Deschambault, Point-du-Jour, Saint-Adelphe, Saint-André-Est, Saint-Casimir, Saint-Édouard-de-Maskinongé, Saint-Justin and Saint-Ubalde, and to replace it with a combined wholesale rate for Le Réseau des Sports (RDS) and The Sports Network (TSN), per subscriber per month as follows:

3. SAINT-ADALBERT, Quebec
Application (931648000) by the COOP TÉLÉ-CÂBLE DE ST-ADALBERT, 5 Gauvin Street, Saint-Adalbert, Quebec, G0R 2M0:
a) to amend the broadcasting licence of the (cable) distribution undertaking serving Saint-Adalbert, by adding a condition of licence authorizing it to act as a Part III licensee;
b) to amend the broadcasting licence by adding a condition of licence relieving the licensee from the requirement that it distribute at least four television programming services delivered to its local head end by a network operator licensed to extend television and radio services to remote and underserved communities, at least one of which must be a Canadian television programming service, pursuant to section 23 of the Cable Television Regulations, 1986; and
c) to amend the broadcasting licenceby adding a condition of licence relieving the licensee from the requirements that it distribute the programming services of CFAP-TV (TQS) Québec, a local signal, and CKMI-TV (CBC) Québec, Quebec, a regional signal, pursuant to paragraphs 22(1)(a) and 22(1)(b).
The applicant proposes to distribute, instead, the signals of CBMT (CBC) Montréal and CFJP-TV (TQS) Montréal, Quebec, received via satellite.
