The Commission has received the following applications:

1. COBOURG/MISSISSAUGA, Ontario

Application (930046800) by MARTIN ROSENTHAL, 4 Cachet Parkway, Markham, Ontario, L6C 1G8, to amend the broadcasting licence of the (radio) programming undertaking CFMX-FM Cobourg, by changing the technical parameters of CFMX-FM-1 Mississauga, as follows:

- by changing the transmitter location from Mississauga to First Canadian Place in central Toronto; and
|
- by decreasing the effective radiated power from 43,100 to 13,300 watts.
|
The applicant states that the proposed changes will not only improve the reception quality of CFMX-FM-1 signal within its coverage area, particularly in Central Toronto, but also extend its service to the north and northeast.

2. ROCKLAND, CLARENCE POINT AND SURROUNDING AREA, Ontario

Application (930762000) by TÉLÉCABLE LAURENTIEN INC., 190 Edmonton Street, Hull, Quebec, J8Y 3S6, to change the authorized service area of the (cable) distribution undertaking serving the above-mentioned localities, by including the Hammond/Cheney area and Wendover. These areas are in close geographic proximity of the presently authorized area.
