Application (920509700) by COLUMBIA KOOTENAY BROADCASTING CO. LTD. to amend the broadcasting licence to carry on the (radio) programming undertaking for CKEK Cranbrook, by adding to it the following two transmitters:
CFEK - Fernie, British Columbia
CJEK - Sparwood, British Columbia
As a result of this change, locally-produced programming would no longer be available in Fernie. The above-noted radio stations would then rebroadcast exclusively the programs of CKEK Cranbrook. The licensee is also requesting the revocation of the current licences of CFEK Fernie and CJEK Sparwood.
