The Commission will hold a public hearing commencing on 13 July 1993, at the Commission Headquarters, 1 Promenade du Portage, Hull, Quebec, to consider the following:
ATLANTIC REGION / RÉGION DE L'ATLANTIQUE
1. CHÉTICAMP/SAINT-JOSEPH-DU-MOINE (INVERNESS COUNTY), Nova Scotia
Application (930581400) by LA COOPÉRATIVE RADIO CHÉTICAMP LIMITÉE, P.O. Box 430, Chéticamp, Nova Scotia, B0E 1H0, for a broadcasting licence to carry on a French-language type A, FM community (radio) programming undertaking at Chéticamp, operating on a frequency of 100.1 MHz (channel 261) with an effective radiated power of 30 watts, to broadcast activities related to "CÉLÉBRONS LE CENTENAIRE DE NOTRE ÉGLISE" and the "FESTIVAL DE L'ESCAOUETTE" and also community programming, from 25 July to 1st August 1993.
The Commission will only proceed with this application at the public hearing if advised by the Department of Communications, on or before 2 July 1993, that it is technically acceptable.

2. McKENDRICK (RESTIGOUCHE COUNTY), New Brunswick
Application (930585500) by the COOPÉRATIVE RADIO RESTIGOUCHE LTÉE, P.O. Box 890, Campbellton, New Brunswick, E3N 3H3, for a broadcasting licence to carry on aFrench-language type B, FM community (radio) programming undertaking at McKendrick, operating on a frequency of 99.9 MHz (channel 260) with an effective radiated power of 50 watts, to broadcast activities related to the event of "LE SOMMET DE L'ACADIE À McKENDRICK" and also community programming, from 13 to 15 August 1993.
The Commission will only proceed with this application at the public hearing if advised by the Department of Communications, on or before 2 July 1993, that it is technically acceptable.

SPECIFIC INDIVIDUAL REQUIREMENTS
INTERVENERS REQUIRING SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETATION ARE REQUESTED TO INFORM THE COMMISSION AT LEAST TWENTY (20) DAYS BEFORE THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE PUBLIC HEARING SO THAT THE NECESSARY ARRANGEMENTS BE MADE.

Intervention
- submit your original written intervention to the Secretary General of the Commission (CRTC, Ottawa, K1A 0N2);
IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED BY THE COMMISSION AND PLACED ON THE PUBLIC FILE,
- your intervention should clearly indicate whether you support or oppose the application or if you propose changes to it, with facts and grounds therefor and if you wish to appear at the public hearing, if there is one;
- a true copy MUST be sent to the applicant and a proof of such sending must accompany the original sent to the Commission;
- the intervention must be receivedby the CRTC and by the applicant ON OR BEFORE the deadline date indicated below. The Commission cannot be held responsible for postal delays;
