Telecom Costs Order CRTC 93-1

In re: Bell Canada - 1992 Construction Program Review

Application for Costs by the Consumers Fight Back Association et al (CFBA).

DIRECTION AS TO COSTS

1. The application of CFBA for an award of costs in respect of the 1992 Bell Canada Construction Program Review is hereby approved.

2. The Commission considers that CFBA's application meets the requirements of section 76 of the National Telecommunications Powers and Procedures Act and the criteria set out in subsection 44(1) of the CRTC Telecommunications Rules of Procedure.

3. Costs awarded herein shall be paid to the CFBA by Bell Canada.

4. Costs awarded herein shall be subject to taxation in accordance with the CRTC Telecommunications Rules of Procedure.

5. Costs awarded herein shall be taxed by Carolyn Pinsky.

6. CFBA shall, within thirty days of the issue of this order, submit a bill of costs and an affidavit of disbursements to the Taxing Officer and serve copy thereof on Bell Canada.

7. Bell Canada may, within two weeks of receipt of those documents, file comments with the Taxing Officer with respect to the costs claimed, and serve a copy thereof on CFBA.

8. CFBA may, within two weeks of receipt of those documents, file a reply to the company's comments, and serve a copy thereof on Bell Canada.

9. All documents to be filed or served by a specific date must be actually received, not merely mailed, by that date.
