Application (920168200) by RADIO DE LA BAIE LTÉE to amend the broadcasting licence to carry on the radio programming undertaking for CKLE-FM Caraquet/Bathurst by relocating its main studio from Caraquet to Bathurst.
The licensee notes that the studio in Caraquet is only used in emergencies.

2. MONTRÉAL, Quebec
Application (912511300) by CONSORTIUM DE TÉLÉVISION QUÉBEC CANADA (TV5) to amend the network licence for the French-language specialty service "TV5 Québec Canada", by adding a condition of licence allowing the licensee to use line 21 of the vertical blanking interval in order to provide closed-captioning of certain TV5 programs.In its application, the licensee states that:
...TRANSLATION
 "According to our information, line 21 has 2 channels available for operation, that is channels 1 and 2. Closed-captioning in the English language which TV5 wants to provide, would be offered on channel 2 of line 21. Therefore, if need be, the CTQC would be free to offer closed-captioning in the French language on its network by using channel 1 of line 21."

LTD., licensee of the cable distribution und7ertaking serving the above-mentioned localities, for authority to transfer all of the issued and outstanding shares of the licensee currently held by Josef Kristlik (80%) and Helen Kristlik (20%), to Shaw Cablesystems Ltd., a company controlled by the Shaw family.
The Commission notes that Bowen Island Cable T.V. Ltd., licensee of the cable distribution undertaking serving Bowen Island, British Columbia, which is owned and controlled by Josef and Helen Kristlik, does not form part of this transaction.
