The Commission has received the following applications:
1. GASPÉ, GASPÉ-HARBOUR, YORK CENTRE, WAKEHAM, SANDY-BEACH, HALDIMAND, SUNNY-BANK, POINTE-NAVARRE, SAINTE-MARJORIQUE, PENOUILLE, CAP-AUX-OS AND D'AIGUILLON, Quebec
Application (920325800) by CABLO DISTRIBUTION G. INC., 23 de la Cathédrale Street., P.O. Box 1720, Gaspé, Quebec, G0G 1R0, to amend the broadcasting licence to carry on the cable distribution undertaking serving the above-mentioned localities, to be relieved, by condition of licence, of the obligation of distributing the signals of CIVK-TV-3 (SRTQ) and CBVG-TV (CBC) Gaspé, local signals, pursuant to paragraph 22(1)(a) of the Cable Television Regulations, 1986.
The licensee states that the reception by satellite of these signals will improve the quality and will prevent the occasional loss of signals and the ghosting of picture.

Applications (912869500,912870300, 912871100) by TRILLIUM CABLE COMMUNICATIONS LIMITED, Suite 600, 1530 Markham Road, Scarborough, Ontario, M1B 3G4, licensee of the broadcasting licences to carry on the cable distribution undertakings serving Kemptville, Perth and Smiths Falls, for approval:
- to distribute, at its option, as part of the basic service, the programming service of WWTI (ABC) Watertown, New York; and
- to delete the distribution of the programming service of WXYZ-TV (ABC) Detroit, Michigan, received via satellite from the Canadian Satellite Communications Inc. (CANCOM) network, on the basic service, as presently authorized.
The signal of WWTI Watertown will be received at a distant head-end located at Smiths Falls and microwaved to the Kemptville and Perth cable systems.
Trillium Cable Communications Limited has proposed to reduce its monthly subscribers fees by $1.00 since this amount will no longer be paid to CANCOM.
