REVOCATION OF THE RADIO NETWORK LICENCE ISSUED TO ELECTROHOME LIMITED, DOING BUSINESS UNDER THE NAME AND STYLE OF "SUNWAPTA BROADCASTING"
Electrohome Limited, doing business under the name and style of "Sunwapta Broadcasting" has requested the revocation of its radio network licence for the purpose of broadcasting all of the football games of the Edmonton Eskimos for the 1992, 1993 and 1994 seasons. The licensee has advised that it no longer holds the broadcasting rights for the Edmonton Eskimos games.
In view of the licensee's request and pursuant to paragraph 9(1)(e) and subsection 24(1) of the Broadcasting Act, the Commission hereby revokes the radio network licence issued to Electrohome Limited.
