The Commission has received the following applications:

1. KUUJJUAQ (FORT CHIMO), Quebec

Application (903287100) by CLUB DE RECRÉATION KUUJJUAQ PINGUATISIJINGIT, P.O. Box 147, Kuujjuaq, Quebec, J0M 1C0, to amend the broadcasting licence to carry on the (radio) programming undertaking for CKUJ-FM Kuujjuaq (Fort Chimo) as follows:

- by changing the frequency from 90.1 MHz to 97.3 MHz;
|
- by increasing the effective radiated power from 0.28 to 842 watts; and
|
- by changing the transmitter location to a new site located 0.5 kilometre to the west of Kuujjuaq.
|
The applicant states that these changes will improve the quality of service at Kuujjuaq (Fort Chimo).

Application (900129600) by CONSTANCE BAY CABLE TELEVISION LIMITED, licensee of the (cable) distribution undertaking serving the above-mentioned localities, for approval to transfer all of the issued and outstanding shares of the licensee currently held by four shareholders, each controlling 25%, to Quid Pro Quo Management Ltd. and to Gordon Lavery.

As a result of this transaction, Constance Bay Cable Television Limited will be effectively controlled by Quid Pro Quo Management Ltd. which is effectively controlled by Leigh Hillier of Black Creek, British Columbia.

The ownership of Constance Bay Cable Television Limited will therefore be changed as follows:

- by allowing the licensee to distribute, at its option, as part of the basic service, the programming services of WROC-TV (CBS) and WHEC (NBC) Rochester, WNPI-TV (PBS) Norwood, New York and CHOT-TV Hull, Quebec, received via microwave from the licensee's Pembroke system.
