Applications (910710300, 910711100, 910712900, 910713700, 910714500, 910716000) by SOUTHPORT CABLE TV LIMITED (SOUTHPORT) and WIARTON CABLE T.V. LTD. (WIARTON), licensees of the cable distribution undertakings serving the above-noted localities:

a) to transfer all the issued shares of Southport, currently held by Ronald McIntosh (87.4%) and his daughters (12.6%), to Trillium Cable Communications Limited (Trillium).
|
|
As a result, Trillium acquires an indirect 33.33% interest in Grey- Bruce Microwave Services (Paisley) Ltd., licensee of a relay distribution undertaking, through its acquisition of Southport.
|
|
b) to transfer the issued shares of Wiarton, currently held by Ronald McIntosh (50%), to Trillium (the remaining shares of Wiarton are held by Southport).
|
|
Further to this transaction, Southport Cable TV Limited and Wiarton Cable T.V. Ltd. will be effectively controlled by Trillium, which is, in turn, controlled by CUC Broadcasting Limited.
|
|
The ownership of Southport Cable TV Limited and Wiarton Cable T.V. Ltd. will therefore be changed as follows:
