The Commission has received the following applications:
1. RICHIBUCTO, New Brunswick
Application (911289700) by FUNDY CABLE LTD./LTÉE, 454 King George Highway, Newcastle, New Brunswick, E1V 1M1, to change the broadcasting licence to carry on the cable distribution undertaking serving Richibucto by deleting the South St. Charles area which was granted in Approval A90-0152 (891982100) dated 5 JULY 1990.
The licensee states that both the Jardineville and Blanchard Trail extensions also authorized in the above-noted Approval were completed 30 September 1991.
The licensee states that because of difficult economical times, it has found it necessary to review its entire cable operations with a view of re-evaluating the numerous extension projects for which it received Commission approval.

Box 1659, Fredericton, New Brunswick, E3B 5B1, to change the broadcasting licence to carry on the cable distribution undertaking serving Taymouth by deleting the South Portage area which was granted in Approval A90-0173 (891978900) dated 5 JULY 1990.
The licensee states that both the Pleasant Valley extension and the Nashwaak Bridge amalgamation also authorized in the above-noted Approval were completed.
The licensee states that because of difficult economical times, it has found it necessary to review its entire cable operations with a view of re-evaluating the numerous extension projects for which it received Commission approval.

3. KINGSTON, Ontario
Application (911330900) by the CANADIAN BROADCASTING CORPORATION to amend the broadcasting licence to carry on the radio programming undertaking for CJBC Toronto, by decreasing the effective radiated power of CJBC-2-FM Kingston, from 3,000 to 1,563 watts.
The applicant states that the decrease in power together with an increase in antenna height will not significantly affect the coverage area of the station.

4. OSHAWA, Ontario
Application (911644300) by POWER BROADCASTING INC., 751 Victoria Square, Montréal, Quebec, H2Y 2J3, to amend the broadcasting licence to carry on the radio programming undertaking for CKQT-FM Oshawa, as follows:
a) by reducing the level of instrumental musical selections from at least 50% of all musical selections played each week to at least 35% of all musical selections played each week; and
b) by adopting the following conditions:
- that the licensee, during each broadcast week where the number of instrumental musical selections amounts to 50% or more of all musical selections, devote 15% or more of the musical selections from content category 2 to Canadian selections and schedule those selections in a reasonable manner throughout each broadcast day;
- that the licensee, during each broadcast week where the number of instrumental musical selections amounts to at least 35% but less than 50% of all musical selections, devote 20% or more of the musical selections from content category 2 to Canadian selections and schedule those selections in a reasonable manner throughout each broadcast day.

Applications (911005700, 911006500, 911007300, 911008100, 911009900, 911010700, 911011500, 911012300, 911013100) by THE BATTLEFORDS COMMUNITY CABLEVISION CO-OPERATIVE to amend the broadcasting licences to carry on the cable distribution undertakings serving the above-mentioned localities as follows:
a) by deleting the condition of licence authorizing the licensee to distribute, at its option, the programming services of WDIV (NBC), WJBK-TV (CBS), WXYZ-TV (ABC) and WTVS-TV (PBS) Detroit, Michigan received via satellite from the Canadian Satellite Communications Inc. (CANCOM) network, on the basic service; and
b) by adding a condition of licence allowing the licensee to distribute, at its option, as part of the basic service, the programming services of KCNC (NBC), KMGH (CBS), KUSA (ABC) and KRMA (PBS) Denver, Colorado received via satellite from Royal Communications Inc. - Netlink U.S.A.
