Revised CBC Guidelines on Sex-Role Portrayal
The Commission has received the following applications:

1. SHERBROOKE, Quebec
Application (911694800) by RADIOMUTUEL INC., 1717 René-Lévesque Boulevard East, Montréal, Quebec, H2L 4E8, to amend the broadcasting licence to carry on the radio programming undertaking for CJRS Sherbrooke, by changing the present programming originating from Sherbrooke to programming originating from the Radiomutuel network and/or from CJMS Montréal, Quebec, until December 1992.

Application (911735900) by CHEZ-FM INC. to amend the broadcasting licence to carry on the radio programming undertaking for CHEZ-FM, by adding a condition of licence allowing the broadcast of a weekly music list of 550 distinct music selections.
This proposal requires an exemption to the Commission's policy requiring a weekly music list of at least 850 music selections, as outlined in Public Notice 1990-111 entitled "An FM Policy for the Nineties".
The proposed change is also noted in Public Notice 1991-101 dated 4 October 1991, as part of the CHEZ-FM licence renewal application.
