Decision

Ottawa, 19 April 1991
Decision CRTC 91-228
Sayward Valley Communications Ltd.
Sayward, British Columbia - 900508300
Following a Public Hearing in Vancouver beginning on 12 February 1991, the Commission approves the application by Sayward Valley Communications Ltd. for a licence to carry on a broadcasting receiving undertaking to serve Sayward. The operation of this undertaking will be regulated pursuant to Parts I and III of the Cable Television Regulations, 1986 (the regulations).
The Commission will issue a licence expiring 31 August 1995, subject to the conditions specified in this decision and in the licence to be issued. This term will enable the Commission to consider the renewal of this licence at the same time as that of other cable systems in the area.
It is a condition of licence that the licensee be relieved of the requirement of section 4 of the regulations to own and operate its local head-end, its amplifiers and its subscriber drops.
