The Commission has received the following applications:
1. RENFREW AND ARNPRIOR, Ontario
Applications (900961400, 900962200) by PELMOREX BROADCASTING INC. (PELMOREX), 186 Robert Speck Parkway, Mississauga, Ontario, L4Z 3G1, for approval to transfer the effective control (100%) of Ottawa Valley Radio Ltd. (OVR), licensee of CKOB Renfrew and CKOA Arnprior, currently and indirectly controlled by Neil McMullen, through Annapolis Valley Radio Ltd., in Nova Scotia. Pelmorex is indirectly and effectively controlled by Pierre Morrissette of Collingwood, Ontario.
In Renfrew the applicant also proposes to reduce the locally produced programming from 126 hours to 21 hours 15 minutes weekly. The proposed reduction will result in CKOB becoming a part-time rebroadcasting station of CHRO Pembroke, Ontario.
