Following a Public Hearing in the National Capital Region on 7 February 1989, the Commission approves the application by Nation's Capital Television Incorporated for an English-language television network licence for the purpose of broadcasting an hour-long public affairs program entitled "Sunday Edition with Mike Duffy", originating live from CJOH-TV studios in Ottawa each Sunday morning.
The Commission will issue a network licence expiring 31 August 1993, subject to the conditions specified in the licence to be issued.
The stations authorized to be affiliated to this network will be specified in a schedule which will be appended to the licence. The applicant is reminded that, in line with Public Notice CRTC 1985-252 dated 20 November 1985, any addition or deletion of affiliates requires the prior written approval of the Commission.
