The Commission has received the following applications:

Box 970, Caraquet, New Brunswick, E0B 1K0, to amend the licence to carry on the broadcasting transmitting undertaking for CKLE-FM Caraquet/Bathurst, by changing the frequency from 104.9 MHz (Channel 285 C1) to 92.9 MHz (Channel 225 B) and by decreasing the effective radiated power from 100,000 to 50,000 watts.

The applicant also intends to relocate the transmitter site to a location adjacent to the CN/CP site. The applicant indicates that these changes will slightly reduce the service area but that the quality of service will be adequate.

The applicant indicates that these technical changes would result in an increase in the overall population coverage of CJMR and allow the station to expand its hours of broadcasting.
