Following a Public Hearing in Quebec City on 13 March 1989, the Commission renews the licence for the broadcasting receiving undertaking serving Daveluyville, Maddington Falls and area, held by Décibel Inc., from 1 October 1989 to 31 August 1994. The operation of this undertaking is regulated pursuant to Parts I and III of the Cable Television Regulations, 1986 and the licence will be subject to the conditions specified in this decision and in the licence to be issued.
Consistent with Decision CRTC 86-961 dated 30 September 1986, it is a condition of licence that the licensee be relieved of the requirement that it distribute at least four television programming services delivered to its local head-end by a network operator licensed to extend television and radio services to remote and underserved communities, at least one of which must be a Canadian television programming service.
