Telecom Costs Order CRTC 89-4
In Re: British Columbia Telephone Company (B.C. Tel) - 1988 B.C. Tel Construction Program Review
Application for costs by the B.C. Old Age Pensioners' Organization, Council of Senior Citizens' Organizations, Senior Citizens' Association, Federated Anti-Poverty Groups of B.C., West End Seniors' Network and Local 217 of the I.W.A. Seniors (BCOAPO et al).
DIRECTION AS TO COSTS
1. The application of BCOAPO et al for an award of costs in respect of the 1988 B.C. Tel
Construction Program Review is hereby approved.
2. The Commission considers that BCOAPO et al's application meets the requirements of section 76 of the National Telecommunications Powers and Procedures Act and the criteria set out in subsection 44(1) of the CRTC Telecommunications Rules of Procedure.
3. Costs awarded herein shall be paid to BCOAPO et al by B.C. Tel.
4. Costs awarded herein shall be subject to taxation in accordance with the CRTC Telecommunications Rules of Procedure.
5. Costs awarded herein shall be taxed by Lorne Abugov.
6. BCOAPO et al shall, by 14 April 1989, submit a bill of costs and an affidavit of disbursements to the taxing officer and serve a copy thereof on B.C. Tel.
7. B.C. Tel may, by 28 April 1989, file its comments with regard to the costs claimed, and serve a copy thereof on BCOAPO et al
8. BCOAPO et al may file, by 12 May 1989, a reply to B.C. Tel's comments, serving a copy thereof on B.C. Tel.
9. All documents to be filed or served by a specific date must be actually received, not merely mailed, by that date.
