Public Notice CRTC 1988-218
The Commission has received the following applications:
1. HUNTINGDON, ORMSTOWN, SAINT-JEAN-CHRYSOSTOME, SAINT-ANICET, SAINTE-BARBE, SAINT-STANISLAS DE KOSTKA AND DEWITTVILLE, Quebec
Applications (882659600, 882660400) by CABLEVISION HAUT ST-LAURENT INC., 8285 Pelletier Boulevard, Brossard, Quebec, J4X 1P6:
a)  to amend the licence for the broadcasting receiving undertaking serving the above-mentioned localities, by deleting the present condition of licence concerning the construction and operation of the undertaking and by substituting the following:
 It is a condition of licence that construction be completed and that the undertaking be in operation on or before 30 june 1989."
b)  to amend the licence for the broadcasting receiving undertaking serving the above-mentioned localities, to be relieved, by condition of licence from the requirement of distributing at least four television programming services distributed from its local head-end by a network operator authorized to distribute television and radio services to remote and underserved communities, of which at least one must be a Canadian programming service, in compliance with Section 23 of the Cable Television Regulations, 1986 for the municipalities of Saint-Jean-de-Chrysostome, Saint-Anicet, Sainte-Barbe and Saint-Stanislas de Kostka.
The licensee is authorized to distribute the programming signals CITV-TV, CHCH-TV, WDIV (NBC) and WJBK-TV (CBS) received via CANCOM; he now proposes to delete the distribution of these signals.

Intervention
- Any person wishing to intervene must submit a written intervention to the Secretary General of the Commission (C.R.T.C., Ottawa, Ontario, K1A 0N2). A true copy of the intervention MUST also be served upon the applicant, on or before the deadline date indicated below and a proof of such service MUST be included with the original document addressed to the Secretary General. Interventions must be actually received on the date specified hereunder, not merely posted on this date.
