Pursuant to Public Notice CRTC 1988-69 dated 26 April 1988, the Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for CBCE-FM Little Current, by using the subsidiary communications multiplex operation (SCMO) channel to relay the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's AM French-language network service from CBON-FM Sudbury to the proposed French-language FM broadcasting transmitting undertaking at Elliot Lake, Ontario which was authorized in Decision CRTC 88-641 of today's date.
The licensee is expected to adhere to the applicable guidelines set out in Public Notice CRTC 1984-117 dated 17 May 1984 entitled "Services using the Vertical Blanking Interval (Television) or Subsidiary Communications Multiplex Operation (FM)".
