Following a Public Hearing in the National Capital Region on 7 June 1988, the Commission approves the application for a licence for an FM radio broadcasting transmitting undertaking at Middleton, on the frequency 93.3 MHz, channel 227B, with an effective radiated power of 8,000 watts, to rebroadcast the programs of the CBC English-language FM (stereo) network, received via satellite.
The proposed transmitter is intended to replace the CBC programming that is presently offered on CKWM-FM Kentville, which is scheduled to disaffiliate from the CBC on 31 August 1988.
The Commission will issue a licence expiring 31 August 1992, subject to the conditions specified in the licence to be issued.
