Pursuant to Public Notice CRTC 1985-264 dated 11 December 1985, the Commission approves the applications to amend the broadcasting licences for the AM radio stations noted below, by changing the frequencies as follows:

These frequency changes should avoid possible interference problems with class "C" AM stations that were authorized to increase their night-time power by a factor of four.

In the case of CBMJ Murdochville, CBSI-5 Natashquan, CBSI-7 Havre-Saint-Pierre and CBSI-9 Sheldrake, in accordance with paragraph 22(1)(b) of the Broadcasting Art, the Commission will only issue the licence amendments for these stations, and the authority granted herein may only be implemented, at such time as written notification is received from the Department of Communications that it will issue amendments to the Technical Construction and Operating Certificates.
