Ottawa, 30 September 1986
Decision CRTC 86-982

Saint-Joachim, Saint-Jean-de- Boischâtel, L'Ange Gardien, Château Richer, Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Saint-Tite-des-Caps and Saint- Ferréol-les-Neiges, Quebec - 860037100
Pursuant to Public Notice CRTC 1986-98 dated 30 April 1986, the Commission renews the licence for the broadcasting receiving undertaking serving the communities noted above, and will issue a licence to Télécâble de la Côte de Beaupré Inc. for the period of 1 October 1986 to 30 September 1991. The operation of this undertaking will be regulated pursuant to Parts I and III of the Cable Television Regulations, 1986 (SOR/ 86-831 dated 1 August 1986) and the licence will be subject to the conditions specified in the licence to be issued.
The licensee is authorized to continue to distribute, without advertising material, the following special programming services: Sports and Leisure; "Les Fonctionnaires"; Courses, Science and Education; Enfants Jeunesse (Télé des Jeunes) and S.O.S.; and Arts and Entertainment.
In view of the fact that the licensee is already authorized to receive services from Intervision Québec Inc., and in light of the special characteristics of this market, the Commission relieves the licensee, by condition of licence, from the application of section 23 of the regulations according to which it must distribute at least four CANCOM television programming services if it wishes to distribute Part III eligible non-canadian satellite services, pay television services or specialty services.
