Following a Public Hearing in Winnipeg on 3 December 1985, the Commission approves the application for a licence to carry on a broadcasting transmitting undertaking consisting of two low power VHF television channels to serve Beauval. This undertaking will distribute the programs of CITV-TV (IND) Edmonton and CHAN-TV (CTV) Vancouver, received via satellite from the Canadian Satellite Communications Inc. (CANCOM) network, on channels 11 and 13 respectively with a transmitter power of 5 watts each.
The Commission will issue a licence to Sipisishk Communications Inc., expiring 30 September 1989, to carry on a multi-channel broadcasting transmitting undertaking, subject to the conditions specified in the licence to be issued.
