Decision

Ottawa, 26 November 1986
Decision CRTC 86-1132
Cablestrie Inc.
Lachute and Brownsburg, Quebec - 861127900
Pursuant to Public Notice CRTC 1986-256 dated 24 September 1986, the Commission approves the application to amend the licence for the broadcasting receiving undertaking serving Lachute and Brownsburg by increasing the maximum installation fee from $25.00 to $30.00 and the maximum basic monthly fee from $9.24 to $9.59. This new monthly fee forms the base portion for the purpose of section 18 of the Cable Television Regulations, 1986.
Based on the information submitted by the licensee and the Commission's criteria for assessing rate applications, the Commission considers that the monthly fee increase is justified on economic grounds and should enable the licensee to cover increased operating costs and to achieve a reasonable level of profitability.
