Public Notice

Ottawa, 30 August 1985
Public Notice CRTC 1985-200
CABLE CARRIAGE OF SPECIALTY SERVICES
In Public Notice CRTC 1985-174 entitled Cable Carriage of Specialty Services issued 2 August 1985, the Commission requested comments from specialty, pay and cable television licensees, other members of the broadcasting industry, and also the public, on the subject of the cable carriage of pay television and specialty services.
A letter to the Commission from the Canadian Cable Television Association, dated 13 August 1985, on the subject of Public Notice CRTC 1985-174, states, in parts, that: "we would be unable to canvass an industry consensus and collect the necessary information, let alone provide meaningful responses to the questions raised by the Commission by its proposed deadline date of 13 September 1985." Accordingly, the Commission hereby extends the deadline for the submission of comments on the issues identified in Public Notice CRTC 1985-174 from 13 September 1985 to 15 October 1985. All comments should be addressed to the Secretary General, CRTC, Ottawa, Ontario, K1A 0N2.
Fernand Bélisle, Secretary General.
