Renewal of licences from 1 October 1985 to 31 March 1986
The Commission announces that it renews the broadcasting licences for the following community FM radio stations from 1 October 1985 to 31 March 1986, subject to the conditions of licence specified in the current licences. This term will enable the Commission to consider the renewal of these licences at public hearings to be held in early 1986 in the context of its new policy on community radio released today (The Review of Community Radio, Public Notice CRTC 1985-194).
 CFIM-FM Cap-aux-Meules, Quebec  CFMF-FM Fermont, Quebec  CFOU-FM Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec  CHAI-FM Châteauguay, Quebec  CHIP-FM Fort-Coulonge, Quebec  CHIP-FM-1 Chapeau, Quebec  CHIP-FM-2 Rapide-des-Joachims, Quebec  CHOC-FM Jonquière, Quebec  CIBL-FM Montreal, Quebec  CIBO-FM Senneterre, Quebec  CIRC-FM Rouyn, Quebec  CKRL-FM Quebec City, Quebec  CKIA-FM Quebec City, Quebec  CKWR-FM Kitchener, Ontario
The Commission also renews the licence for the institutional FM station CFCQ-FM Trois-Rivières, Quebec from 1 October 1985 to 31 March 1986, subject to the conditions of licence specified in the current licence.
