REVOCATION OF THE LICENCE FOR THE BROADCASTING RECEIVING UNDERTAKING AT CLEARWATER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, ISSUED TO CANASAT LIMITED
Canasat Limited has requested the revocation of its licence for the broadcasting receiving undertaking serving Clearwater, British Columbia.
Accordingly, in view of the licensee's request and pursuant to paragraphs 16(1)(c) and 24(1)(a) of the Broadcasting Act, the Commission, on the recommendation of the Executive Committee, hereby revokes the aforementioned licence for a broadcasting receiving undertaking issued to Canasat Limited.
The Commission will issue a call today for applications for a licence to provide cable television service to Clearwater.
