Following a Public Hearing in Hull, Quebec on 1 May 1984, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission announces that it approves the application, under the Accelerated Coverage Plan, for a broadcasting licence for an English-language television station at Wiarton, on channel 20 with an effective radiated power of 125,000 watts to rebroadcast the programs of the CBC affiliate station, CKNX-TV Wingham.
The Commission will issue a licence expiring 30 September 1987, subject to the conditions of licence specified in the licence to be issued.
