For related documents: see Public Notices CRTC 1984-70 and 1984-248 dated 16 March and 10 October 1984 respectively and Circular No. 295 dated 16 March 1984 and also Canada Gazette Notice No. DGTR-001-84 dated 28 January 1984.
The Commission hereby approves the applications to amend the broadcasting licences for the undertakings listed below by increasing their night-time power from 250 watts to 1,000 watts.
These applications were submitted as a result of bilateral agreements concluded between Canada and the United States relating to certain AM broadcasting stations. The Department of Communications (DOC) has advised that the implementation date for all these night-time power increases has now been set for 15 December 1984.
The Commission will only issue the licence amendments for CKCB Collingwood and CKMP Midland and the authority granted herein may only be implemented, at such time as written notification is received from the DOC that it will issue amendments to its Technical Construction and Operating Certificates.
