RE:  Request for extension to central office code in-service dates

Dear Sir:

On 8 April 2015, Comwave Networks requested approval for a second extension to the in-service date for its 587-751 central office (CO) code in Alberta.

In its request, Comwave Networks indicated that the delay was caused by lack of capacity on their providers’ facilities and that failure to obtain an extension would result in a loss of the test window. Comwave Networks mentioned it was currently scheduled for LIR interconnections and routing arrangement with TELUS commencing on 22 May 2015.

Commission staff considers that Comwave Networks’ request to extend the in-service date until the end of June 2015 for the CO code is reasonable.

Sincerely,
