Re: Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2009-261, Proceeding to consider the appropriateness of mandating certain wholesale high-speed access services
Dear Madams, Sirs:
The Commission is in receipt of Order in Council 2009-2007 (the OIC), dated 10 December 2009, by which Her Excellency the Governor General in Council referred Telecom Decision 2008-117 and Telecom Order 2009-111 back to the Commission for reconsideration, and identified certain matters that were material to the reconsideration.
Given that certain of the identified matters are relevant to the issues in the proceeding initiated by Notice of Consultation 2009-261, as amended, the oral hearing scheduled to start on 11 January 2010 is postponed. A notice of consultation outlining the revised process and hearing date will be issued shortly.
