RE: Tariff Notice 1099 – Introduction of unlimited Terrestrial Internet packages

Dear Mr. Thompson:

On 13 November 2020, the Commission received additional information from Northwestel Inc. (Northwestel) related to Tariff Notice 1099. Specifically, the company provided its Phase II cost studies in support of its proposed changes to General Tariff CRTC 3001, Item 1735 – Terrestrial Internet Services, to introduce new Internet packages, including unlimited Internet packages, for residential and business customers in its areas served by fibre-to-the-premises and cable.

In order to allow interveners sufficient time to comment on Northwestel’s application and the additional information filed by the company, the deadline by which a party may file an intervention is now 7 December 2020. Northwestel may file reply comments within 10 calendar days thereafter.

Sincerely,
