RE:  Tariff Notice 1099 – Introduction of unlimited Terrestrial Internet packages

Dear Sir:

On 14 October 2020, the Commission received an application by Northwestel Inc., under Tariff Notice 1099, in which it proposed changes to General Tariff CRTC 3001, Item 1735 – Terrestrial Internet Services, proposing to introduce new Internet packages, including unlimited Internet packages, for residential and business customers in its areas served by fibre-to-the-premises and cable.

Commission staff is continuing its analysis of this application.

Consequently, this application, along with any associated subsequent revisions, will not be approved on an interim basis on the 15th calendar day following receipt. However, the Commission intends to dispose of this application, along with any associated subsequent revisions, within 45 business days of receipt of the filing.
