Re: Part 1 Application Seeking Clarification of Telecom Regulatory Policy CRTC 2018 466, Review of the Regulatory Framework For Text-Based Message Relay Services (TRP 2018-466)
Dear Sirs,
The Commission is receipt of a Part 1 Application filed on 20 May, 2020, from Bell Canada, Quebecor Media Inc., on behalf of Videotron Ltd., Rogers Communications Canada Inc., Saskatchewan Telecommunications, Shaw Communications Inc., Tbaytel and TELUS Communications Inc. (collectively, the Applicants) seeking clarification from the Commission regarding paragraph 205 of TRP 2018-466 and the scope of work therein requested of CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee (CISC).
The Application has been placed on hold pending the release of a Commission Decision that may address the issues brought forth. We respectfully request that the Applicants review that Decision, once released, and inform the Commission of any resulting changes to be made, if any, to the present Application.
