iChannel – Revocation of licence

1. Stornoway Communications General Partner Inc. (the general partner) and 1403318 Ontario Limited (the limited partner), carrying on business as Stornoway Communications Limited Partnership, has requested the revocation of its broadcasting licence for the English-language specialty Category A service iChannel, originally authorized in The Issues Channel – a new specialty channel, Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2000-463, 14 December 2000.
2. Given the licensee's request and pursuant to sections 9(1)(e) and 24(1) of the Broadcasting Act, the Commission revokes the broadcasting licence issued to Stornoway Communications General Partner Inc. (the general partner) and 1403318 Ontario Limited (the limited partner), carrying on business as Stornoway Communications Limited Partnership, for the above-mentioned undertaking.
