Re: Application number 2014-0081-1
This is in reference to Asian Television Network International Limited’s (ATN) request to add UTV MOVIES INTERNATIONAL, a non-Canadian programming service, to the List of non-Canadian programming services authorized for distribution in Canada.
At section 1. of the application form, you indicate “U.S.A.” as the origin of the service to be sponsored. At section 3.1d), you indicate “UTV MOVIES INTERNATIONAL” as the original source of the programming. The letter dated January 16, 2014 reflects the owner of the channel, UTV Entertainment Television Ltd., as located in “Mumbai”. Please specify the location of the channel that would be distributed to Canada, should the Commission approve the application, i.e. what location is the programming for this service sourced from? U.S.A.? Mumbai? Or another location?
ATN is required to provide the information requested above, which will be added to the public record, by no later than 14 February 2014.
The Commission requires that you submit your documents electronically using the secured service “My CRTC Account” (Partner Log In or GCKey) and fill in the “Broadcasting and Telecom Cover page” located on this web page. On this web page, you will also find a link to information on the submission of applications to the Commission “Submitting applications and other documents to the CRTC using My CRTC Account.”
