Dear Messrs Connolly and Boyd:

Re: Q-Tel Request for Relief - Access Arrangements

On 27 June 2005 , the Commission received comments from TELUS Communications Inc. (TELUS) in response to the 2 May 2005 request for relief by Q-Tel Corporation (Q-Tel) with regard to contractual arrangements with TELUS related to network access arrangements.

On 7 July 2005 , the Commission received a request from Q-Tel that it be granted until 21 July 2005 to be able to properly review TELUS' answer and present a proper reply.

Commission staff agrees with Q-Tel's requested extension to file its reply comments by 21 July 2005 .

Yours sincerely,
