CKDU-FM Halifax - Technical change

1. The Commission approves the application by CKDU-FM Society to change the authorized contours of the radio programming undertaking authorized in Change of frequency and increase in power for CKDU-FM, Decision CRTC 2000-98, 12 April 2000, by increasing the effective radiated power from 520 watts to 3,200 watts, by decreasing the antenna height and by relocating the transmitter.
2. The licensee indicated that the transmitter site is no longer available.
3. The Commission reminds the licensee that, pursuant to section 22(1) of the Broadcasting Act, this authority will only be effective when the Department of Industry notifies the Commission that its technical requirements have been met, and that a broadcasting certificate will be issued.
