Re: Annual Independent Production Report Pursuant to Decision CRTC 2001-458

Dear Ms. Bell:

This is to advise that the Commission accepts Global Television Network's Independent Production Activity Report for the 2001/2002 Broadcast Year, filed 17 December 2002 pursuant to Licence renewals for the television stations controlled by Global, Decision CRTC 2001-458, 2 August 2001.

This is also to advise that the Commission grants your request to treat as confidential, the production budget and licence fee information for individual projects, and the aggregate regional information in cases where less than three projects are involved. The Commission is also granting confidentiality regarding "Other Broadcaster Contributions".

The report will be placed on Global's public examination file.

Yours sincerely,

Diane Rhéaume
A/Secretary General
