  1. Telus letter of August 13th, 2001

Telus has filed a letter with the Commission dated August 13th, 2001
requesting clarification of the issues and scope of matters to be
considered in this proceeding.

Parties may file comments with the Commission, copying all interested
parties, in respect of the matters raised by Telus by Thursday, August
23rd, 2001.

Parties may file reply comments with the Commission, copying all
interested parties, by Monday, August 27th, 2001.

  1. Bell letter of August 13th, 2001

Bell has filed a letter with the Commission dated August 13th, 2001,
requesting the Commission to determine, among other things, that the
most appropriate forum to deal with the impact of updated PES costs is
the price cap proceeding.

Parties may file comments with the Commission, copying all interested
parties, as to whether updated PES costs should be considered in the
context of the price cap proceeding, by Thursday, August 23rd, 2001.

Parties may file reply comments with the Commission, copying all
interested parties, by Monday, August 27th, 2001.

If the Commission determines that updated PES costs will be considered
in the price cap proceeding, it will rule on the confidentiality requests
received in respect of this information on the basis of the record already
filed with the Commission.

Documents referred to in this letter that are to be filed or served by a
specific date, are to be actually received, not merely sent, by that date.
