Telecom Order CRTC 98-922
On 20 August 1998, Northwestel Inc. filed an application for approval of General Tariff Item 1730.1, October Savings Promotion, which provides for a promotional campaign offering a maximum per minute charge of $0.25, exclusive of set up charges, for eligible calls within Canada, each weekend in October 1998 commencing 3 October 1998 from Saturday 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. the following Sunday.

In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:
The proposed tariff revisions to become effective on 3 October 1998 are approved.
