New FM radio programming undertaking
|
Following a Public Hearing in Fredericton beginning on 7 December 1993, the Commission approves the application for a broadcasting licence for an English-language FM radio programming undertaking at Coquihalla Toll Plaza, Highway 5, on the frequency 89.9 MHz, channel 210LP, with an effective radiated power of 10 watts, to inform the public travelling on Highway 5 of potential landslides or avalanches.

The Commission notes that the funds required for the installation, maintenance and operation of the transmitter will be provided by the British Columbia Ministry of Transportation and Highways. The Commission will issue a licence expiring 31 August 2000.
