Following a Public Hearing in Toronto beginning on 10 March 1992, the Commission approves the application for a broadcasting licence for an English- and Native-language FM radio programming undertaking at Summer Beaver on the frequency 89.9 MHz, channel 210, with an effective radiated power of 10 watts.

The licence will expire on 31 August 1998, and will be subject to the conditions specified in the licence to be issued.

Pursuant to Public Notice CRTC 1990-89 dated 20 September 1990 entitled Native Broadcasting Policy, the Commission will issue a licence for a Type A FM native radio station.

The Commission notes that the undertaking will broadcast 19 hours of weekly programming, of which a minimum of 9 hours will be locally produced. The remainder will be received from the Wawatay Communications Society radio network. Programming will be broadcast in the English, Cree and Ojibway languages.

The Commission also notes that this station will be owned and controlled by a not-for-profit organization whose structure provides for membership, management, operation, and programming primarily by members of the community at large.
