Pursuant to Public Notice CRTC 1992-4 dated 16 January 1992, the Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for the radio programming undertaking CFWH Whitehorse (the originating station), by authorizing the licensee to add a transmitter at Haines Junction, operating on frequency 103.5 MHz (channel 278 A1) with an effective radiated power of 90 watts. This transmitter will replace the low-power radio transmitter CBDF Haines Junction.
In accordance with subsection 22(1) of the Broadcasting Act, the Commission will only issue the licence amendment, and the authority granted herein may only be implemented at such time as written notification is received from the Department of Communications that it will issue an amendment to the Broadcasting Certificate.
