Decision

Ottawa, 14 December 1987
Decision CRTC 87-922
Mountain FM Radio Ltd.
Squamish, British Columbia - 872814900
Pursuant to Public Notice CRTC 1987-237 dated 2 November 1987, the Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for CISQ-FM Squamish by changing the frequency from 98.3 MHz (channel 252A) to 104.7 MHz (channel 284B), and by increasing the effective radiated power from 2,400 to 20,000 watts.
The Commission is satisfied that the existing service area should not be affected except for an increase in coverage to the southwest and that the change in frequency should eliminate interference in the Squamish area with respect to the reception of CFMS-FM Victoria.
